Personable, Available, Focused
We turn 2D architectural and engineering designs into 3D structural designs for fabrication and construction. While some designs go easily from 2D to 3D, others need a little tinkering. We are easy-going and focused on the end goal. It’s really important that we work well with architects and engineers to straighten out any kinks in the designs, so we give fabricators and contractors exactly what they need.
We also make sure that we’re easy to get a hold of – we respond to emails quickly and we return phone calls right away. We stay focused on finding solutions. Even if other detailers have struggled to solve a problem for you, we’ll just put our heads down and keep working until we do.
What we’ve done
Rocky mountain college bair science center
Rocky Mountain College is a liberal arts college of about 1,000 students nestled under the Rimrocks in Billings. The Bair Science Center contains the laboratories, classrooms, seminar rooms and faculty offices for the college’s biology, chemistry, geology, math and physics departments.
Carroll College
Located in Helena, MT, the Hunthausen Activity Center is the newest addition to Carroll College’s campus landscape. The center was designed to offer a beautiful, modern space for recreational activities such as indoor climbing, basketball, weight-lifting, and a breadth of fitness classes for the college’s students and faculty.
Egilise Bridge
Egilise Bridge is a uniquely designed structure that provides access to the private Yellowstone Club near Big Sky MT. Steel solutions designed the project to be completed in phases, each section being erected on the ground and then swung into place one span at a time all the way to the guardrail system. Horizontal and vertical bracing as well as plate girder diaphragms were installed between bridge deck girders.
Reserve Street Bridge
The Reserve Street pedestrian bridge in Missoula MT constitutes the last link in a 50-mile separated pathway from downtown Missoula to Hamilton. To accommodate overnight construction and avoid traffic interference, the bridge was designed around multiple splices. These were shipped and erected with the guardrail system already included to minimize field welding.
